From Workshop to Online Fabric Shop: Championing the Success of Greenwood Upholstery

At Thornber, we believe being a commercial landlord is about more than providing a space for a business to operate from. We take real pride in seeing the businesses based in our properties grow and develop, which is why we are delighted to celebrate the latest venture from Greenwood Upholstery at Topland Business Park in Cragg Vale. This family-run business has built a strong reputation over more than 30 years for skilled upholstery and furniture restoration, and has now launched Bodella, its own online fabric shop offering more than 1,600 upholstery fabrics by the metre. Customers can order 50p swatches and even use an online fabric visualiser to upload a photo of their own furniture and see how different fabrics could look before making a choice.

Greenwood Upholstery is a great example of a skilled local business continuing to find new ways to grow, from upholstery courses and furniture restoration to making its huge range of fabrics available to customers across the country.
